A member of the family will review your details and get back to you, usually with questions or an idea of what we would offer.

If we can agree a price, we will arrange a convenient time for you to bring items to the shop or for us to collect.

If it has character, we want to see it.
Our customers love the unusual as much as the classic, so do not assume something is too odd. Some of our favourite pieces arrived as an afterthought.

What kind of items do you buy?
We buy a wide range of antiques, collectables and decorative pieces, from single items to whole collections. If you are unsure whether something is of interest, send us a description and photos and we will let you know.
Do you buy gold and silver?
Yes. We buy gold and silver jewellery, coins and silverware. Bring it into our Strichen shop on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, or send us photos first.
Do you buy house contents and estates?
Yes. We regularly help families with house and estate contents across Aberdeenshire and North East Scotland. Tell us a little about the property and what is there and we will get in touch.
How do I send photos?
Email them to strichenantiques@gmail.com with your name, or mention in the form that you have photos and we will reply so you can send them.
Do I have to bring items to the shop?
Not necessarily. Smaller items are often easiest to bring in, but for larger pieces and collections we can discuss collection.
