Our story
It started with a love of finding something different.
Strichen Antiques is a family-run business built around a shared passion for antiques, collectables and the thrill of discovering something unexpected.
Graham and Jenny, together with their daughters Sarah and Helen, have built a collection of thousands of individual pieces across our two North East Scotland stores.
From jewellery and furniture to taxidermy, ceramics, lighting and unusual curiosities, every piece is personally selected by the family.
There is no fixed formula for what belongs in our collection. If a piece has character, history or simply makes us stop and look twice, it could have a place with us.
Our approach

We don’t simply fill a shop with stock.
Every piece in our collection is personally sourced and selected by us. That means the collection is constantly changing and no two visits are quite the same.
We want our stores to feel welcoming and exciting: somewhere you can browse, discover something unusual and enjoy the experience, whether you’re an experienced collector or completely new to antiques.
