About this piece
Set of eight carved walnut dining chairs in the Cromwellian style made by Afflecks of Ayr. Early 20th Century. Suite consists of two carvers and six singles.
An elegant set of eight antique carved walnut chairs featuring tall backs with finely woven cane panels and serpentine top detail. The seats are upholstered in a burnt orange leather with lovely patina and large stud detail supported by turned legs and block feet all united by turned stretchers. The two carver chairs include scroll shaped foliate carved open arms. Beautiful sturdy chairs presented in lovely condition and made in Scotland by Afflecks ‘the artistic house furnishers’ Ayr.
