This is a replica of the FIFA World Cup Trophy. The original trophy was designed by Italian artist Silvio Gazzaniga and introduced in 1974 after Brazil won the right to keep the previous Jules Rimet trophy permanently in 1970. 
The design depicts two human figures holding up the Earth with theoriginal trophy made of 18-karat gold with two bands of malachite on its base. 
The actual trophy is kept at the FIFA World Football Museum in Zurich, Switzerland, and the winning team receives a gold-plated bronze replica!
