This is a patinated spelter sculpture depicting the classic neoclassical subject "Ariadne on the Panther," cast after the famous original work by German sculptor Johann Heinrich von Dannecker
This piece would have originally been mounted on top of a clock or marble base. She also has been dropped and her head is slightly sunken - see photos
