Wayang Klitik puppets are a type of Indonesian shadow puppet similar to Wayang Kulit, but they are made of carved wood and often painted with batik patterns. 
They are operated from below using rods connected to the hands and a central rod that connects to the body, allowing for manipulation during performances. 
These puppets are part of a traditional Indonesian art form known as Wayang, which typically involves performances that can last for many hours and are often accompanied by gamelan music. 
The elaborate carving and bright colors on the puppets suggest they are in nice vintage condition, likely purchased in Bali in the 1970s.
