Solid mahogany pair of late Georgian his & hers library chairs with marquetry ebony and satinwood inlays on legs, arms and backs. Hand turned legs and back spindles. Out-splayed back legs. Original brass and porcelain castors. Pink velvet upholstery and beading in good condition. Small piece of marquetry missing from left arm of gents chair that has been filled in (see photos).
