This considerable bronze depicts the famous figure of “Star fish” as designed by the French sculptor Chiparus. This is obviously an early copy, unsigned, but no less impressive and decorative. The price is also much more affordable. The girl is clad in a skin tight suit that is covered in star fish. The suit goes up to her head and just leaves her face exposed. The sculpture is mounted on a round bronze base. There is no visible signature. Condition is good
Measurements are: Height 23”, diameter of the base is 7”.
