Antique traditional East African bowl lyre, likely a Nyatiti from the Luo community in Kenya. 
It features a bowl-shaped wooden resonator covered with stretched skin and painted with circular geometric patterns.
Two wooden arms extend from the body, connected by a crossbar holding eight strings.
Traditionally, this instrument is played during ceremonies and cultural gatherings.
