Donald was born in Kyle of Lochalsh, Scotland 1925- 2017.
Studied at Grays school of Art Aberdeen, Scotland, winning the RSA award and a post diploma scholarship.
He won the Royal Scottish Academy award with works regularly exhibited at the RSA, Royal Scottish Institute of fine Arts along with other public galleries.
